Identify what the multiplier applies to
Suppose an imaginary promotion adds C$20 to a C$40 deposit. A 10× requirement on the bonus would mean C$200 in qualifying stakes. The same multiplier on the deposit plus bonus would mean C$600. Those are different commitments despite an identical headline number. These figures are examples, not an available offer or a statement about permitted Canadian promotion terms.
Turnover is not your deposit
Staking and replaying a balance creates turnover. It does not mean keeping the required amount in your account. A balance can run out before the target is reached, and completing a requirement does not guarantee a profit. Never increase a planned spending limit simply to chase unfinished wagering.
Read the contribution table
A game may contribute fully, partly or nothing towards a requirement. In a hypothetical 20% contribution system, C$50 of stakes adds only C$10 to the qualifying total. Check the exact title, game category, maximum permitted bet and any excluded features. A familiar game name does not settle which configuration or promotion rules apply.
Check the exit conditions
Find the expiry time, withdrawal rules, excluded payment methods and any cap on promotional winnings. Check whether declining or cancelling a bonus affects restricted funds. Save the dated terms before opting in; a screenshot of a headline is not the complete agreement.
The Gambling Commission’s terminology guide explains wagering requirements as a general concept; it does not establish Canadian legal rules. Use the Canadian operator directory for separate provincial records, and the RTP guide to understand why turnover is not a return forecast. A provincial entry does not create Canada-wide eligibility.
