Online poker: New Zealand guide

A poker brand is not a local permission

A room can be familiar internationally without having a verified basis to offer its products in New Zealand. This page does not import the Canadian or Irish directory or turn their licences into a New Zealand claim.

Read the exact product rules

Player-versus-player poker, video poker and casino table games are different products. Fees, player pools and game rules also differ. Do not use the existence of a casino demo or an international tournament schedule as evidence that a real-money room accepts your account.

DIA’s online casino guidance describes an active transition and restrictions on advertising. We provide this educational guide without promotional room listings or bonus claims. Check the latest official guidance before making a decision about any gambling product.

What to compare if eligibility is established

Read the contracting entity, location requirements, identity checks, rake and tournament fees. Verify withdrawal conditions and the available time-out or exclusion tools. A low advertised fee cannot settle the more basic question of whether you are eligible.
