Verified poker products and their licences
William Hill and 888 have current Republic-of-Ireland-specific primary terms supporting peer-to-peer poker and identifying their gaming companies and Gibraltar permission. A generic casino licence, video-poker game or overseas poker website is not enough to establish an Irish poker room. Betfair is excluded because its current poker terms restrict that product to UK customers.

Gaming licences and Irish betting licences
The foreign gaming permissions shown here include Malta, Gibraltar and Estonia. They are not Irish domestic remote gaming licences. Where a brand also has an Irish GRAI remote betting or intermediary licence, that permission is shown separately with its own legal company and number. An Irish betting licence does not establish Irish casino or poker permission.
The current GRAI export reviewed on 18 October 2026 contains remote betting and intermediary rows, with no Remote Gaming licence rows. GRAI’s commencement guidance describes further gaming application phases during 2027–2028. There is therefore no current GRAI casino register from which to claim an exhaustive list of every foreign-licensed casino serving Ireland.
How to read the directory
Records are alphabetical. “Irish gaming scope unconfirmed” means a foreign gaming registration was found but its application to Irish customers remains unresolved. “Reference entry” means an applicable Irish customer gaming route was not verified. Neither status is a recommendation or an Irish gaming approval.
